The book sees my Peter Jones from Dragon’s Den offering a wealth of useful business advice to people thinking of starting their own venture.
It’s interesting to hear Peter’s story of how he made a fortune, lost it and then made it again and he shares his learning’s along the way. The book would be excellent for anyone who is thinking of, or currently running a business. Advice is broken down into Tycoon lists of to-dos and thought provoking bite-size tips.
Jones also challenges the reader to question whether they are ready to make the sacrifices needed to leave the security of a job and go it alone. If not he does not shy away from suggesting you reconsider until you have the correct resources and skills in place.
I find Jones makes the entrepreneurial journey and experience an exciting one and he prompts the reader to release the ‘entrepreneurial giant within’. He also touches on the need for balance to ensure creativity and encourages the reader to use their imagination highlighting that ‘imagination is more important than knowledge’.
Overall I think the book is inspiring and educational for anyone starting out in business.
**** Worth a read
